I used to use Apple Macs a lot (work in publishing) but they really are a shite of a company. This made me laugh (not really) - rejecting one of their own pioneering engineers from a "Genius Bar" (wankname) job. He probably had the wrong trousers.

Oh, and I have a Samsung phone. Like an iPhone. But better. And half the price. It still works just fine.

Just get a phone that you can afford, has the features you want and you like the look of. Same with computers. Same with tablets.

Getting in online fights about tech brands and products is such a cunty thing to do. As is labelling anyone that buys something.

You boring futile childish dysfuntional shitcunts.

I work for o2 and have a iPhone 6 , 2 Samsung edge 6+7 and a Sony z3. Although I'm currently typing on a dual sim kingsman as I have to do testing. The iPhone does have some really good music apps for producing which android don't have, but bar that I can't say why anyone would rave about an iPhone. They are all so similar it's ridiculous with slight differences. Personally the Samsung's are the best, but the camera and Walkman are just brilliant on the Sony but it has a way of fucking me off as does the iPhone which is why I gave it my daughter she loves it , but wants my edge7.

People in the shop look at me like a moron when I say that having the built in radio that doesn't require an internet connection is vital to me Joe.

I'm on the train for two hours a day and want the option of Radio 2. Use the HTC and always a decent signal with the ear phones being the receiver.

What s the best phone to stream live tv and listen to tune in radio.

That is what is most important to me.

What practically useful things can you do on Android that you can't do on iOS then Sidney?

I stayed with iPhone after joining in at the 4S I think it was, as the other smartphones were too big and as I don't need a dinner plate for a phone I stuck with Apple. If I think the next model is too big when I come to upgrade I'll look elsewhere.

Probably to the OnePlus 3 as I'm not a Samsung sheep (see it can work both ways can't it?).

Nothing to do with fashion or wanting to be popular, that sort of thing is for kids and divs - or people trying to show themselves to be clever and failing - apologies.

iPhone users are sheep. I've got a Samsung.

Samsung phones before Apple copied Nokia. Now they copy Apple.

But Apple are the sheep.

I say I love ice cream, but it doesn't mean I actually love it. Or even want to fuck it. It's just an expression.

not aimed at anyone in particular just an observation , yes i can understand people liking or having a preference but " love" i find that strange .

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone
If that was aimed at me, when I say 'love' I meant I can buy something for about £400 cheaper than a iPhone, that does all and more than a iPhone did. Who doesn't 'love' something that does the equivalent job and saves me the amount of buying say a season ticket.

So that's why I 'love' it you precious cunt

I've a Microsoft phone and I fucking love it. I had iPhone 4 back when. It was alright to be honest but way too much style over substance. I still fail to see the brand loyalty it's seems to have garnered. Apple really must be pissing themselves. My Microsoft is miles more user friendly thand the iPhone imho and are a fraction of the price.

The Samsung A3 isn't very high spec, so will always seem a bit shit after an iphone 6.

Got my iPhone back now and will alway stick with them

Yes, i remember that, took it as someone fishing than actually being serious though, bit like colly and his "poor people" comment, anyone who seriously thinks people dont have iPhones as they cant afford them and are poor is either fishing or one very thick cunt, its a phone FFS not a LearJet or F1 Maclaren.

And i see Gank has spotted this thread, and irate its not West Ham enough...................didnt stop him from contributing though, another cretin

Next time you talk to an iphone fan, actually ask them WHY they are so in love with them over the alternatives.

I had an iphone 3G and iphone 4 back in the day, they were excellent but as soon as Steve Jobs died Apple seemed more interested in litigation than innovation.

These days I simply prefer Android phones because Android is much more innovative and customisable and less restrictive than ios. Plus Android phones have traditionally had bigger screens and I like to watch movies on my phone.

I've just found that iphone users can't actually tell you a rational reason they prefer them other than they seem them as more 'fashionable' and therefore are perceived to be socially desirable. Fair enough really, it's your money.

Apple Vs Samsung, Canon Vs Nikon, OS X Vs Android...

Cunts that spout old bollocks about tech loyalty are an advertising department's wet dream.

One of the most memorable posts on here was some silly cunt who wrote 'when someone pulls a phone out at a meeting and it's not an iphone I don't listen to them anymore. I can't take them seriously'.

I can't remember who posted that but I bet they are on the dole now.

I still get ocassions when I pull out a PC laptop to show them the pictures I've taken for them and the complete know-nothing-about-tech people say 'don't you use a Mac? I thought they were better for creative stuff like photography?' I tell them that maybe that was true about 20 years ago.

I can't tell if you are talking to me on an iphone, S7 Edge, Nokia or the fucking Batphone in commissioner Gordon's office. I could probably tell if you were calling from one of the 35 Samsung Note 7s because you'd be screaming that your leg was on fire. I'd still have one though- I think they're great.

Apples onlt true USP in the phone market was "Not Microsoft". Microsoft dropped way off the radar in that market at kleast a decade ago (not that they were ever really in it) but Apple fans never actually noticed.

They should get the Beach Boys (or Jan & Dean) to update one of their old 50s/60s songs to "Be Loyal to Your Phone". Enough dumb cunts around in both camps to make it a serious hit.
